The Gold Logoman patch concept made the jump to hoops with 2025-26 Topps Chrome Basketball. These jersey patches are worn exclusively by the NBA's top award winners from the 2024-25 season: MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. No other players got these patches. The result is special and extremely limited cards for a very select few players.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander broke through in a big way in 2024-25, winning the MVP and leading Oklahoma City to their first title. Now he's in pursuit for his second consecutive league MVP Award and NBA Championship, wearing this special patch in 2025-26 as a symbol of this.
